Kindly check below for the procedures on how to apply for ICAN ATS Membership.
APPROVED QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION AS AN ATSWA STUDENT
(a) Five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in the West African School Certificate Examination, General Certificate of Education or Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in not more than two sittings. (b) Ordinary National Diploma of any Polytechnic recognized by the Council of the Institute. (c) National Certificate of Education (NCE) from any College of Education. (d) Any other relevant qualification approved by the Institute.
(1). OBTAIN PIN VOUCHER FROM ZENITH/FIDELITY BANK WITH N6,000
(2) USE THE INFORMATION ON THE PIN VOUCHER TO LOG-ON ICAN WEBSITE.
(3) CLICK ON TO ATS STUDENTS' REGISTRATION AND FILL YOUR DATA ON THE FORM.
(4) OBTAIN A COLOURED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH OF YOURSELF. SCAN THE PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH ON THE FORM.
(5) CLICK TWICE ON SUBMITS TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM ON-LINE.
(6) PRINT OUT A COPY OF THE APPLICATION FORM
(7) APPEND YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE PRINTED APPLICATION FORM.
(8) GET A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT/AAT MEMBER AS YOUR REFEREE/SPONSOR.
(9) PROVIDE HIS/HER MEMBERSHIP NUMBER, NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ON THE FORM
(10) TAKE THE PRINTED COPY OF THE COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM AND THE PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR CREDENTIALS TO YOUR REFEREE/SPONSOR FOR CERTIFICATION OR ENDORSEMENT.
(11) ATTACH THE FOLLOWING: 1. PHOTOCOPY OF WASC/NECO CERTIFICATE OR COMPUTER PRINT OUT/SCRATCH PIN VOUCHER WHERE YOU ARE USING STATEMENT OF RESULT, OND, NCE & OTHERS 2. ORIGINAL COPY OF THE PIN VOUCHER 3. TWO COPIES OF CERTIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS 4. THREE SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPES WITH N50,00 STAMP AFFIXED ON EACH OF THEM. 5. PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR SWORN AFFIDAVIT 6. ORIGINAL COPY OF THE BANK TELLER.
(12) SUBMIT PRINT OUR COPY WITH ATTACHMENT TO STUDENTS' EDUCATION & TRAINING DEPARTMENT AT OUR SECRETARIAT, 82, MURTALA MOHAMMED WAY (OPPOSITE DENTON POLICE STATION) EBUTE META LAGOS CHANGE OF NAME WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AFTER REGISTRATION. ICAN FEES AND PAYMENT
GUIDE ON ENROLMENT FOR EXAMINATION
EXAMINATION REGISTRATION
The. registration PORTAL for the MARCH 2022 diet of ATSWA Examination will open from Thursday, November 25, 2021 to Thursday, March 24, 2022.
MODE OF REGISTRATION FORATSWA EXAMINATION
Candidates are required to register online for March 2022 diet examination at the ICAN website www.icanportal.org/ats/examinations.
badly note that registration for the examination is restricted to registered students of the Institute, that is, those that have been given registration numbers.
The Study Texts are available for collection FREE by candidates at any ICAN District Office and Liaison Offices in the respective centres outside Lagos; those for Lagos centre will collect theirs at 82, Mud* Muhammed Way, Ebute-Metta, Lagos on presentation of a hardcopy of the evidence of payment.
Candidates should download SEPTEMBER 2021 diet's INSIGHT from the Institute's website, ww.icanig.org. Also STUDY TEXTS may be downloaded from the Institute's website under 'STUDENTS' icon.
DIRECTIVES FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
- BEFORE PAYMENT: Check and Print out your Examination/Financial Status at the Institute's ATS students portal: www.icanportal.org/ats before effecting payment through Paydlrect, Verve/MasterATM Card;
- METHODS OF PAYMENT FOR EXAMINATION FEES
a. PayDirect: pay diredty int ICAN e-Collection Account at any commercial bank in Nigeria. Obtain your payment receipt and thereafter.
- Proceed with your application for the exam at ICAN website: www.icanportal.org/ats/paymasters/paydirectindex
- Enter your deposit slip number on the payment receipt
- Enter your receipt number
- Click on the SUBMIT button to generate eVoucher containing 12 digits and 6 digits PIN and serial number respectively required for your online registration
- Proceed to the web address on the e-voucher i.e. www.icaportal.org/ats/examinations to register for the examination.
b. Naira ATM Card: Pay online using your Naira ATM Visa. Verve or Mastercard by selecting the relevant payment type following the steps enumerated below:
Go to https://icanportal.org/ats LOGIN BY:
- Entering your registration number and password to view your examination and financial status if you have previously set up your account .
- If you have not set up your account, click on `New Student Registration' to create a 'Password':
- Click pay ICAN and select 'WebPay' and dick on 'New Payment'.
- ON-LINE REGISTRATION:
- Requirements:
+ Scan a copy (JPEG format, 20kb maximum file size) of your passport photograph (white background) for the online registration before commencement of online examination registration.
+ Scan a copy of your signature. (.JPEG format, 20kb maximum &size)
b. Procedures:
+ Complete the Online for at ICAN website: https://lcaoportal.orgiets and click on submit.
+ Print the following after clicking on submit:
I. Completed online examination form;
Ii. Examination Timetable, centres and their addresses;
Ill. Examination offences and disciplinary measures;
IV. Examination warning to all candidates
Note that (iii) and (iv) above should be thoroughly understood and applied as appropriate.
- Visit the website three days after online submission of the examination form to confirm your enrolment.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Registration for March 2022ATSWAExamlnation doses on Thursday, March 24. 2022
- NO REFUND WILL BE MADE ONCE EXAMINATION FEE IS PAID.
- Candidates may not have access to the examination website after Thursday, March 24, 2022
- Deferment of March 2022 examinations application MI not be entertained.
- Candidates who have applied for EXEMPTION from any level of the examination are advised to confirm that their applications are successful before making payment for the examination.
- Candidates are not permitted to apply for EXEMPTION and EXAMINATION at the same time.
- Application for change of examination centres will not be processed after 12 noon on Thursday, March 24,2022
- Candidates are to ensure the accuracy of the information on their forms. The passport photographs must be the true semblance of the applicants arid must be of white background.
- The signature on the registration form must be the personal signature of the candidates.
- Any discrepancy discovered on the signature when compared with signature on the attendance sheets, dockets and answer booklets at the examination hall or marking centre will be taken as a breach of the examination rule. This shall attract appropriate disciplinary action which would be communicated to the affected candidates in due course.
- Candidates are advised to download the ATS Insights, Study Texts, Examination lime Table, Dockets and other instructions from the !CAN website, www.icanig.org
- Candidates must come to the examination hall with the downloaded docket to locate their desks. m. Candidates are warned In their own interest not to bring MOBILE PHONES Into the Examination Hail, as anyone caught violating this Instruction will be stopped from continuing with the
examination and the paper will be CANCELLED
