Adopt These 3 Steps and Say Never To Failure

Be practical as well as generous in your ideals. Keep your eyes on the stars, but remember to keep your feet on the ground- Theodore Roosevelt

When preparing for an Exam, we already know the date the exam will start and end. Unfortunately, most students writing  the exam don’t plan towards it. Studying towards success is a deliberate habit which comes with discipline, endurance, perseverance and focus

However, in all my life experiences, I have observed that some students don’t study as exhaustively as they should. Instead they buy materials, keep it until a month to the exam before they start studying. Such method is a complete gamble with your time and energy.

During the last diet of the old syllabus exams, there were two ladies that bought our E-Class Video Lectures for PE1. Their names are Precious and Amaka. Precious and Amaka were both writing PE1 for the third time. However, they have already passed IT which means that they have FA,MA,AAA to write.

On the day they wanted to make their order, Precious and Amaka explain how pathetic their situation was and they also complained that they don’t have time for lectures again because their jobs is time demanding as their jobs require them travelling from one place to the other  coupled with that they have family with children that they have to take care of, which is a whole lot of work on its own. After an intense  conversation with both of them, I gave both of them an advice on how to manage and prepare for any examination under pressure.

  1. Get your materials early–  early preparation guarantee your pass in the exam. Early preparation here as it relates to Amaka and Precious means you should get the materials you need and become familiar with the concepts in the course.
  2.  Consistent study for at least 1hr daily– Many students have issues studying daily. They think it is by the number of hours you spend that determines your level of success in the exam. Unfortunately, it is not how long but deliberate and consistent studying for at least 1hour daily is what will guarantee your success in the exams. This was the exact advice I gave to both of them. Precious took my advice and she was able to cover the entire syllabus for each subject. On the contrary, Amaka waited for her leave which was a month to the exam. She left Owerri to Lagos because her center was in Lagos, she also slept in a classroom for a full month and at the end of the day all the papers where returned to her.
  3. Practice Enough questions– questions can never be too much for any student, E-Class questions and answers revision kit is designed to help  student become use to the examiner’s style of setting questions. In the last diet we released our E-Class questions and Answers series which Precious and Amaka bought. Precious was able to pass her FA,AAA,MA because she practiced the questions  and answers repeatedly which paid off at the end of the day. But, for Amaka she was overwhelmed because she was studying too much under a limited time.

I hope you find it very useful. However, learn from others and don’t let them learn from you.

Please post your comments below and I will personally reply you.

Yours Sincerely,

Tayo Stephen ACA
