In Nov 2020, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant at the age of 17.
At 18 he was a final year student of Accounting in the University.
His Father is a Chartered Accountant, so he introduced Testimony to ATSWA immediately after secondary school.
About ATSWA:
The Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa (ATSWA) programme is designed by the Institute Of Chartered Accountant Of Nigeria (ICAN) to produce middle level Accounting Technicians within the West African sub-region.
Minimum Entry Requirement:
Holders of O’level (WAEC, NECO or GCE) certificate can proceed into ATS registration.
Five (5) credit passes in any subject including English Language and Mathematics in the WAEC, NECO or GCE, not more than two sittings or NABTEB.
Duration of ATSWA:
The duration for the completion ATSWA examination is a minimum of 15 months for those with ordinary level certificate.
Your Child’s Journey To Become a
Chartered Accountant:
The ATSWA syllabus is divided into 3 parts;
ATS 1, ATS 2 and ATS 3 and each part consists of four (4) subjects.
After ATSWA, your child will move to ICAN skill level, which is the second level to become a Chartered Accountant and their after to ICAN professional level, which is the final level of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
