Scientifically Proven, 3 Habits To Cultivate 4 Weeks To Your Exam

A study recently by the Association of Psychological science

backed up all other recent studies-basically telling what

most good tutors know already- constant practice and recap

So what techniques are best when an exam is close

Testing yourself-precisely using Questions and Answers:

This works wonders because it helps recall what you have to do in the exam and it also teaches you what you don’t know. That is, it helps you understand precisely what the examiner wants and not what you think the examiner wants.

Recaps- humans have both short and long-term memory; now proven research by scientist has shown that recap helps store information into the long term memory. Now what I mean by recap is after solving a question, just go back to it take a look at it over and over. I could still remember years ago when I almost made a mistake in financial accounting. It was recap that helped me to spot the mistake. How did I know? Very simple solving series of questions helped me spot precisely what the examiner was asking for because I have solved questions which have the same scenario with the one set by the examiner although the figures were different.  Therefore, I corrected my mistake and that was how I passed the paper.

So what Techniques doesn’t work well

Now that the exam is close please avoid these 2 mistakes

Re-reading Material- Now that the exam is very close, the brain needs to be more engaged

Seriously with what a true exam situation sould look like. it is an exercise you need to perform constantly if you want to pass your exam.

Highlighting Text- This is even worse because now that the exam is very close, highlighting is not what your brain needs currently.

So put the highlighter down and get on to operation test your brain. After all, you have gone through the E-class video and you have also joined the discussion forum to understand the conceptual framework of the course.

So, get a comprehensive question and answer video which will help you engage your brain to do the recap and consistent practice that you need to pass your exam.

Please post your comment below and I will personally reply them.
